Korean takeaway in Roehampton scores 1 from Council hygiene inspectors

More a case of 'dirty dancing' for this Korean takeaway and delivery service obtaining 1 out of 5 following a Council inspection in December 2018 for Food Hygiene. This score indicates Major Improvement Necessary. The Food Hygiene Rating Scheme allows the public to see the results of food hygiene inspections as a rating from 0 to 5. Rating certificates and window stickers are sent out to businesses after assessment.



The takeaway was ranked as Poor for 'Food Hygiene & Safety' (which includes food handling practices and procedures, and temperature control), a Fair for 'Structural Compliance' which includes; (cleanliness, layout, condition of structure, lighting, ventilation, facilities etc.), received but the food safety team registered Little confidence in the management.

Scores on the Doors is a website that collates information on the food premises supplied by the Food Standards Agency and provided by local authorities.  Wandsworth Council inspects most of the 2,132 food premises in Wandsworth each year - the aim as stated on the council website is to 'to ensure that food sold to the public is safe to consume'.
