Planning Application now with the Mayor of London

A spokesman for Friends of Putney Common said: "I understand the application is now with Boris Johnson as it involves the development of Metropolitan Open Land. He has up to six weeks to make a judgement but as the Deputy Mayor Sir Edward Lister is in charge of planning it may go through more quickly."

He continued: "Following the publication of a WBC news release on their website which claims that land will be returned to the common following the approval of the 2012/0758 planning application, FoPC has issued a press release which clarifies the actual position."

PutneySW15.com invited Wandsworth Council to comment on the above plans and as yet have received no response.
