Putney's rockstar hopeful Jamie Archer was the latest act to be voted off The X Factor on Sunday evening, losing out to Lloyd Daniels in the sing-off after receiving the least number of votes from the public on the ITV show.

In the sing-off, following the deadlock between the judges Jamie performed Queen's ‘The Show Must Go On' and Lloyd sang Paulo Nutini's hit ‘Last Request'.

Jamie was gracious in his defeat saying on the show, “I have had such a fantastic time. This is the beginning for me not the end. I want to do some gigs, make a record and get out there. I'd like to thank everyone who has supported me.”

As yet Jamie has not been available for comment.

‘Jedward' join Lloyd Daniels, Stacey Solomon, Danyl Johnson, Olly Murs and Joe McElderry for next week's show.
