The Putney Society meeting on Tuesday 28th June at 7.30 pm

Following the resignation of Edward Lister as a Wandsworth councillor, a by-election will be held on Thursday 30th June 2011.

The Putney Society has therefore arranged a Hustings meeting for this Thamesfield Ward by-election. It will be held on Tuesday 28 June at 7.30pm in the Brewer Building, St Mary's Church, Putney Bridge.

It will be attended by all four candidates who are, Marian Hoffman for the Green Party, Christian Klapp for Labour, Mike Ryder for the Conservatives and Lisa Smart for the Liberal Democrats.

The meeting will be chaired by Jonathan Callaway, Putney Society Vice-Chairman. Each candidate has been invited to speak for four minutes and there will then be an opportunity for questions and discussion.

The meeting is open to the public. Come along and bring a neighbour to listen to what the candidates have to say about the major issues in Putney such as the Thames Tunnel and highrise buildings.
