On Saturday 4 February there will be an opportunity to join a performance of Mozart’s Requiem at St. Mary’s Church on Putney High Stree.

The Fulham and Hammersmith Choral Society will help you to learn and perform this piece in one day.

It says, “Mozart's Requiem is a choral masterpiece whose genesis is shrouded in mystery – one that makes the piece all the more fascinating and emotionally stirring.”

There will be rehearsals in the morning and afternoon at the Church before a performance at 4.30pm conducted by Robert Patterson with Petre Jaekel as accompanist and Maddy Holmes as soprano.

Tickets cost £20 plus booking fee and a copies of the Score: Edition Novello are available to hire for £2. Register here if you would like to join.

You are encouraged to invite family and friends to the performance.

10:15 – 11:00 Registration.

11:00 – 13:00 Rehearsal

13:00 – 14:00 Lunch – Bring your own or relax in one of Putney’s many eateries

14:00 – 15:45 Rehearsal

15:45 – 16:30 Tea and Coffee break

16:30 – 17:30 Free performance (no dress code)
