The Putney Festival is set to make its return from 10 July to 24 July.

It was first held last year, as the effects of lockdown were still being felt, to bring communities together and help support musicians, performers and artists hard hit by the pandemic.

Events include performances of Puccini's La Boheme, a Putney Festival Young Musician of the Year Competition and a Music Marathon.

The first Putney Festival was held last year. The event was the brain child of freelance opera singer and producer Rhiannon Llewellyn who lives and works in Putney.

Building on the success of the virtual and in person concerts held at St Margaret’s Church during the pandemic, she decided a festival would work in the area and soon found plenty of support for the idea.

More information and details on booking tickets can be found on the Putney Festival website.
