In a one night only Chrstmas Revue
British stage and screen actress Virginia McKenna OBE is performing in Putney for one night only on Sunday 4 th December, in an all-star lineup alongside TV and West End stars Nick Waring, Amanda Waring and David Simeon. McKenna, a national treasure with a BAFTA, an Olivier award and a Golden Globe Award to her name, is headlining in ‘The Gift of Christmas’ – an internationally acclaimed revue celebrating every aspect of the festive season.
The revue, devised and directed by Amanda Waring, has toured around the world and features poems and play extracts including Betjeman, Dickens, and Ayckbourn and music played by renowned pianist Philip Mountford including Vivaldi and Telemann. This is a truly unique opportunity to get into the spirit of Christmas at a professional production at a local venue - All Saints’ Church, Putney Common. The Waring family have long been friends of All Saints Church and all the show’s stars are performing free of charge.
