In keeping with its political history, St Mary's Church and the Putney Society are holding a hustings event for the General Election.

This will be at the church at 8pm on Thursday April 29th, the week after the Putney Society hustings for the local council election.

The confirmed attendees so far are Justine Greening (Conservative), Stuart King (Labour), James Sandbach (Lib Dem) and Bruce Mackenzie (Green).

The format will be that each candidate will have 5 minutes to deliver a speech as to why they believe they are the best choice for Putney and then there will be as many questions from the floor as time allows.
