On Saturday 26 of May, the Charity Symphony Orchestra will be performing at St. Mary’s Church on Putney High Street.

This will be the orchestra’s third concert at this beautiful church, and on this occasion, the players will be joined by the orchestra AllegroModerato – an Italian ensemble supporting musicians with varying special needs.

Both Allegro Moderato and the Charity Symphony Orchestra will perform separately on the day, and then join together for an excerpt from Beethoven’s ninth symphony at the end. Other repertoire will include excerpts from Copland’s Rodeo Suite and Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake.

There will be the usual 7:30pm concert, but also a 4pm ‘mini matinee’, which will be suitable for five- to 12-year-olds, and compèred by a member of the Charity Symphony Orchestra.

Tickets for the 4pm concert are £2 and tickets for the 7:30pm concert are £12 and £10, all available on the door. For more information, please visit www.charityso.org.uk or email enquiries@charityso.org.uk .
