Whether you’re running 5k or a marathon, whether you’re an experienced runner or a novice, your goal is to get round in your best possible time without injury.
So to help you achieve this, from January 16th 2011, Bodies in Action will be running a course of 12 weekly running sessions every Sunday from 9am – 10:30am, the sessions will start on Putney Common, across the road from the bus stop or the Spencer Arms. Why join a race training session?
Leading up to your big day you’ll need lots of guidance and support and this what we can give plenty of. You will be introduced to a proper warm up session and shown the correct running techniques.
This training session will prepare you to run with a group of runners and also meet others to see how their training is going and also motivate each other
These training sessions will give you on-the-spot techniques to manage your pace and judgment and help improve your running technique and manage it for the full distance.
Every year, people have to drop out of races with common running injuries that could have been prevented with the correct technique and running program. These training sessions will assess your technique to ensure you are well prepared for your big day, and offer you the best advice for your ability.
