West Hill School goes on-line

West Hill School today launched its new website by releasing 250 coloured balloons.

Tony Colman, the local MP, who went along to the event said:

"It's great to see primary schools like West Hill getting themselves on the web and this type of event really brings it home to the children who are getting more and more interested in the world wide web. I am particularly impressed that some pupils have set up their own web pages on the site which have interesting pictures and facts they have found while researching on the internet."

The website contains information on the school and the curriculum as well as exhibiting the work of some of the pupils.

The new website can be found at www.westhill.wandsworth.sch.uk and is well worth a visit
