Check out all the special offers from businesses on the Upper Richmond Rd & give them YOUR support!
There may be "Men At Work" along the Upper Richmond Road and traffic chaos but don't for one minute forget that the businesses based along the stretch from the High Street to the Leisure Centre are NOTclosed - in fact more than ever they need our support! The section of the Upper Richmond Rd has many fascinating and individual businesses including a wide range of restaurants, boutiques and charity shops. Thamesfield Councillor Roesemary Torrington told PutneySW15.com: The council and the Putney Partnership are doing all they can to help, including installing new signs and lobbying to get the road works finished sooner, but support from the people of Putney people is vital if their local shops are to survive." Putney councillor Jim Maddan warns that without customers, shops and restaurants will struggle to stay open: “One thing we can all do is to use some of these local businesses a bit more. Use it or lose it." Upper Richmond Road is home to some great cafes, pubs and restaurants, with food from around the world, including Mexican, Indian, Persian, English, Japanese and Thai. There are also some great little neighbourhood shops, including clothes and shoe shops, newsagents, chemists, printer, dry cleaner, hairdressers and a spa. Check out the businesses and any special offers on this page: If your business is not listed or you know of one that is not listed please contact us and we make sure it is included - email editor@putneySW15.com
