Putney netballer Theresa Seidu has seen her dream of representing England come true after being selected as part of the England Indoor Netball squad, which will be competing in the Tri-Nations tournament in South Africa in September.

Theresa who has played for her local team Lavender Park Netball Club for the last few seasons was introduced to the indoor version of netball by Coach Tom Reseigh who saw a particular potential for her in the indoor game. Indoor netball is a quicker version of the sport with a net around the court meaning the ball does not go out of play.

"I am thrilled and honoured to be selected and can't wait to head to South Africa in Sept" Theresa said.

To make sure she realises her dream of playing in the tournament, she must raise £2,000 in order to pay for travel, training expenses and kit.

“Anyone who can sponsor me or support me in any way would be a huge boost.” www.gofundme.com/3p0ci4
