Samaritans rely purely on volunteer support and new volunteers are always needed. It is a challenging experience and it can be very rewarding knowing that you have made a difference.

The Putney branch of Samaritans are looking for people from all walks of life, and especially daytime volunteers.

Our information meetings for volunteering are open to anyone who has an interest in Samaritans and would like to find out a little more about what they do; in order to maybe volunteer themselves. 

People are free just to turn up.  The meetings start at 7:30 and tea/coffee is served before hand.  The session lasts approximately 2 hours. 

There is no need for people to let the organisers know they are coming but should they want any more information they should ring 020 8789 2743.
