Decorations on 60 Christmas trees following soon!

New to Putney this Festive Season is the appearance of 60 five foot living Christmas Trees along the Upper Richmond Road, Putney Bridge Road and Lacy Road. These have been placed by the Positively Putney team.

According to a spokesperson for Positively Putney said: " The businesses along these roads have always felt it was unfair that they did not have festive lights like the ones funded by Wandsworth Council on Putney High Street. This year, we are trialling making the streets look festive with these trees. They will all have lights on by Saturday when we have our official light switch on. We have placed them strategically along the footpath on the wider stretches to ensure no impact on pedestrians. We were delighted that the trees were so well received by the public as we were putting them out".



Positively Putney Business Improvement District, which became operational in April 2017 is funded by the businesses to improve the environment for those who live, work and visit Putney.
