Sadiq Khan MP for Putney congratulated Sheila Boswell

Sheila Boswell is to contest the next general election in Putney according to a message posted on a social networking site.

The Member of Parliament for Tooting, Shadow Justice Secretary, Shadow Lord Chancellor and Shadow Minister for London tweeted: " Really pleased my good friend & #Tooting Councillor @sheilaboswell has been chosen today as our candidate for @PutneyLabour for 2015".

On her website the Labour Councillor stated that she was: ".. the candidate with the proven track record and local profile who can take the fight to the Tories, lead the drive to get more Putney Labour Councillors elected in 2014 , provide the broadest possible electoral appeal for Labour in Putney and bring voters back to Labour that’s why I’m standing to be your Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for the General Election 2015."
