Last Saturday (18th April) Putney’s MP Fleur Anderson ran 5k to raise funds to say thank you to the staff at St George’s and Queen Mary’s hospitals.



Speaking to PutneySW15, Ms Anderson said:“Thank you to everyone who supported my 5km socially distant run last Saturday and helped raise nearly £3,000 for the St Georges Coronavirus appeal. It has been a great way to say thank you to the wonderful NHS staff at Queen Mary’s and St George’s Hospitals who are going above and beyond in their work and care. I had hoped to raise £1000, so £2950 in such a short time is fantastic and shows how much we all want to say thank you to the NHS.
