Last month commuters at Putney Station were treated to a variety of carols and seasonal songs from members of the choir, led by Musical Director Carl Speck.

" We were delighted with the generosity that people showed to this important cause which supports people who are elderly or isolated in Putney" Speck told PutneySW15.com.

The choir normally practices on Wednesday evenings at St Margaret's Church in Putney Park Road. It is a non-auditioned choir and anyone can come along to try it and see if they enjoy singing a wide range of material. More men would be particularly welcome to strengthen the male cohort in the choir but the choir is open to people of all ages and singing abilities. Next term starts on January 13 2016.
