Ponsonby Road near Putney Heath

A woman has been raped on Tuesday, 12 April on Putney Heath, near to Ponsonby Road, SW15.

The victim, aged in her twenties, was walking along Roehampton Lane towards Alton Road, at approximately 10pm when she was approached by a man who assaulted her.

The suspect is described as aged in his late twenties to early thirties, with an olive complexion and thick black hair. He was wearing a dark jacket and baggy trousers.

Detectives from the Met’s Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Command are investigating.
