An accident occurred at 08:50 hours on 10th March on Putney Hill near Tibbets Corner, when a bus was in a collision with a pedestrian.

It was a ‘Route 493’ bus and the pedestrian was a 65-year-old woman.  Helicopter Emergency Medical Services arrived and transported the woman to St George’s Hospital in Tooting. LAS also attended the scene.

Her condition has been described as stable and we understand that she suffered serious head and neck injuries and a badly injured leg.

Tibbets Corner and Putney Hill were closed off.  This caused tailbacks to Roehampton Lane Junction.
