Police have launched weapon sweeps in Roehampton and West Putney following the stabbing of a teenager last Friday evening (20 May)/

The 19-year-old man was attacked at 8.22pm on Holford Way which is a road lined with modern residential buildings off Roehampton Lane.

His condition is report to be non-life threatening. No arrest has been reported at this stage.

Following the incident, the local Safer Neighbourhood Teams conducted weapons sweeps in the area as part of their regular foot patrols. They focused on hotspot areas including Roehampton Sports Centre, Regenerate Youth Centre and Base youth group. No knives were found.
