A police helicopter was buzzing West Putney yesterday (29th July) afternoon to support British Transport Police (BTP) as their officers were called to Putney station, following a report of a man trespassing on the tracks.

A spokesperson for the BTP told this website: “A thorough area search was conducted, however no one was traced. A number of enquiries are underway. Anyone with information should contact BTP by sending a text to 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 390 of 29/07/2019.”

Exactly one month ago on 29 June Putney Station was evacuated due to 'a trespasser on the line'.
