Richmond Park has been closed since mid morning today (2nd September) when the Police were called to near Sheen Gate after a white man aged in his forties was stabbed whilst cycling in the Park.

The victim has not been named and was taken by London Ambulance Service to Charing Cross Hospital but he was later pronounced dead at 13.01. The next of kin have not yet been informed, and a post mortem is being undertaken in Fulham.

The Police have confirmed that a man aged forty-one is in custody having been arrested in the vicinity this morning.
