John Radford, the black cab rapist, who was formerly known as John Worboys, has pleaded guilty to four more offences in which he drugged women.

This Friday (20 June) 62-year-old Radford appeared by video ay Old Bailey from HMP Wakefield. He admitted to two counts of administering a stupefying or overpowering drug with intent (contrary to Section 22 of the Offences against the Person Act 1861), and two counts of administering a substance with intent (contrary to Section 61 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003).

Each of the four charges relates to offences against separate individuals.

Radford will be sentenced on Monday, 2 September. The former cabbie was imprisoned for a string of rapes faced new charges following further investigations by the police. In all it is estimated that he carried out over 100 rapes and sexual assault between 2002 and 2008.
