Man found hanged in wooded area near Pen Ponds

Body was found near Leg of Mutton Pond near Pen Ponds

The body of a man was found in Richmond Park this Thursday morning (3 November) close to the Leg of Mutton Pond which is a short walk from Pen Ponds.

The police were called to the park at around 9.20am along with paramedics from London Ambulance Service.

A man was pronounced dead at the scene. No indication has been given of his age.

Police forensic teams sealed off the area for further investigation. At this early stage the death is being treated as non-suspicious.
