On Wednesday 25th January 2012 officers from Roehampton and West Putney Safer Neighbourhood Teams conducted a drugs search of a property in Ellisfield Drive SW15 which resulted in two arrests for cultivation of cannabis.

Whilst patrolling PCSO Lucioni noticed a strong smell of cannabis coming from the flat in question, this was supported by complaints and intelligence from members of the public.  A warrant was obtained and executed in the early hours of the 25th.

The one bed flat had been converted into a hydroponic cannabis factory with around 20 plants drying and nearly ready for sale.

A man in his 20s, and a female youth, have both been arrested for cultivation of cannabis and are currently on police bail.
