Police are appealing for information and witnesses following a serious assault of a 33-year-old man in the Rocket Bar on Putney High Street on Saturday 26 August, at approximately 2140 hours.

The victim was heading away from the toilets along one of the two corridors towards the bar when another man blocked his path. The suspect told him to go the other way but the victim politely responded that his friends were waiting for him in the bar at the end of the corridor.

The suspect then demanded for the victim to go back the way he came, and when the victim tried to walk past, he was punched in the face. He received swelling and bruising to his right eye.

Suspect is described as a white man, approx 25-years-old, 5’ 8” - 5’ 10” tall, with short, spikey, dark brown hair. He was wearing a blue / green t-shirt with a motif and jeans. The suspect was seen running over Putney Bridge towards Fulham.
