Group 64 Theatre for Young People present their Christmas show: Emil and The Detectives by Erich Kastner, adapted by Carl Miller. Performed by young people aged between 8-17 and directed by Kate Pasco, Youth Director of Group 64.

Join young Emil as he says goodbye to his mother, leaves his small town and sets off on a journey that will change his life. An adventure for all the family this Christmas - full of surprises, danger, and where everything moves at the speed of your imagination.

This inspiring story of children out-smarting adults is brought to live by a vibrant young cast and will leave you itching for an adventure of your own!

Group 64 is a dynamic and inclusive Young People's Theatre Company, residents of Putney Arts Theatre. They believe in giving young people the opportunity to reach their creative potential in a safe and fun environment. Group 64 offer drama classes, opportunities to be in productions and backstage, holiday projects and much more!

They aim to create powerful, exciting and thought provoking theatre and are always looking for ways to think outside the box. Creating work by and for young people. They believe drama activities should be available to every young person, and can offer assisted places on termly fees and extra support in classes and shows to those who need it.
