PUTNEY RSPCA ANIMAL HOSPITAL

Welcome to the Putney Animal Hospital!

Putney Animal Hospital is one of four animal hospitals nationwide providing low cost veterinary care to sick and injured animals for those owners on low income or on certain benefits; eligibility to use our services is based on a number of other criteria that also that have to be met first, details of which, can be found on the RSPCA website (www.rspca.org.uk). The hospital also treats sick and injured wildlife and animals that do not have an owner; this can include animals brought into the hospital by RSPCA Inspectors.

The hospital group is funded centrally by the RSPCA from money received in the form of donations, legacies, membership fees, and fundraising; as with the society as a whole, Putney Animal Hospital and the clinics receive no government funding. Putney Animal Hospital benefits from the activities and fundraising of a voluntary group of Friends (known as the ‘Friends Of Putney Animal Hospital’) who raise funds to purchase equipment and improve facilities for/ at Putney Animal Hospital. The volunteers for the Friends of Putney Animal Hospital run the on-site shop at the hospital, the profits of which, also goes towards benefitting the hospital.

The Friends of Putney Animal Hospital has been established for over 20 years and has acquired around 400 loyal members whose kind donations over the years have made a huge difference to the hospital. We are therefore eternally grateful to the tireless work of the volunteers and the generosity of the members.
